SUMMARY:Natural History Series: When Good Plants Go Bad – Invasive Plants in Cape Breton
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday April 12th\, 7 pm-9 pm\, McConnell Library\, 50 Falmouth St\, Sydney \nWhen Good Plants Go Bad: Invasive Plants in Cape Breton with David Quimby and Marion Whitcomb. \nDavid and Marion have a keen interest in observing the natural world\, and have been documenting the growing problem of invasive plant species in Cape Breton for almost a decade. They actively work to educate people about how non-native plants are transforming the area and why we should care. Ever the problem solver\, David has also recently started an invasive plant removal and consultancy service. \nThis is part of an ongoing series of monthly Natural History talks presented by the Cape Breton Regional Library in partnership with the Cape Breton Naturalists Society. \nEveryone welcome! \n
