SUMMARY:Kick off to Nova Scotia Polish Heritage Month
DESCRIPTION:Everyone is invited to a special weekend of Polish activities — free of charge. On Saturday\, September 9\, from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm the Pogoria Polish Folk Ensemble is hosting an open house at the Polish Village Hall. Sample some Polish food\, see exhibits\, learn dance steps. On Sunday\, September 10\, at 11 a.m. join St. Mary’s Polish Parish for its 110th anniversary Mass. The new Twin City Pocket Park will be unveiled right after the Mass on Sunday in honour of CBRM’s Polish Sister City. That will be followed by a Polish Cafe and Lunch at the Polish Village Hall. Again\, the events are free of charge — this coming Saturday and Sunday. Everyone is welcome. September is Nova Scotia Polish Heritage Month.
