SUMMARY:Glace Bay Food Bank Milk Run
DESCRIPTION:Once again\, the Glace Bay Food Bank is doing their annual milk run.  They are seeking donations of canned or powdered milk.  It is running until Nov. 9th.  Donations can be dropped off at the Miner’s Forum in Glace Bay.  Any financial donations can be made directly to the food bank. \nThis year\, the milk run had to find a new farm for the potatoes they bring during this amazing event.  The new farm delivered.  Mid Isle Farms has donated one pallet of potatoes to the cause.  That is 250 x 10lb bags of potatoes.  And that’s not all as ADL Dairy Isle has donated one pallet of canned milk.  That’s over 2000 cans\, and valued at approximately $3240.00.  And the generosities don’t end there as the Glace Bay Minor Hockey Association has bought a second pallet as well.
