Nova Scotians in Running to Become Astronauts

92 Nova Scotians are among the nearly 4-thousand people across the country vying to be one of Canada’s next astronauts. The Canadian Space Agency says 3,772 Canadians successfully completed the application process for two positions with the agency and a chance to go into space. The pool of applicants will be reduced through a series of interviews and tests over the next year and the two winners, Canada’s next astronauts, will be announced next summer.
