CBRM mayor race

It’s officially a race now for the mayorlty as Cecil Clarke announced yesterday he is running for a second term as mayor of CBRM.

Clarke kicked off his official campaign saying there’s going to be a fight, although he didn’t actually name his only opponent Rankin MacSween, CEO of New Dawn Enterprises. Clark says it’ll be a fight over the direction CBRM takes, because some are suggesting the city move away from stability, progress and growth. Clarke says he intends to deal with municipal issues realistically.
