Nova Scotia teachers vote “yes” to strike

Teachers have voted overwhelmingly in favour of a strike by 96%.

NSTU President Liette Doucet said the teachers feel strongly about providing better education and are willing to take action.  Doucet claims that they have not been genuinely consulted by government in decisions affecting classrooms and schools.

The teachers will be in a legal strike position December 3rd.
