Old recipes added to NS Archives for Thanksgiving

Blancmange, apple fool and mount guard are just a few of the old, handwritten recipes found in the Nova Scotia Archives and now posted online. “What’s Cooking? Food, Drink and the Pleasures of Eating in Old-Time Nova Scotia” includes digital copies of about 1000 recipes, 17 cookbooks and beyond dating back to the 1700s.
