Release of Doves/Prayers for Peace

Everyone is warmly welcomed to St. Mary’s Polish Church in Whitney Pier at sunrise –6:15 in the morning — this Friday, September 1, to pray for peace and release doves on the occasion of the solemn 84th anniversary of the invasion of Poland and the start of World War II. Many thanks to Pier Community Funeral Home for sharing the doves. This also marks the first day of 2023 Nova Scotia Polish Heritage Month.
