Jail time for a Glace Bay man

A Glace Bay man has been sentenced to four and a half years in prison for assaulting a toddler.

30 year old Donald Richard McGrath was in court for a long sentencing hearing where the judge heard victim impact statements.

The child, who now lives with foster parents suffered a brain injury; liver damage and spinal compression fractures.
