Have you ever wondered what kinds of art, documents, and objects are housed in Cape Breton Regional Library’s Nova Scotia Collection? Now is your chance to find out! Visit the McConnell library to see some of the paintings, honours, and objects philanthropist Katharine McLennan donated to CBRL.

Katharine McLennan led an incredible life: she volunteered as a nurse in WWI, studied painting in Europe, helped champion construction of the Fortress of Louisbourg, and donated the land on which the McConnell Library stands.
2-6pm: Drop in to view the exhibition.
6:30pm: Retro slideshow of Katharine McLennan’s travel slides with refreshments.
