Screening of Geographies of Solitude

We are thrilled to announce the Sydney, Nova Scotia premiere of Geographies of Solitude. After an international tour of 60+ festivals, garnering 26 awards worldwide, a critic’s pick by New York Times, IDA and Canadian Screen Award nomination – we are proud to present this film made by local Cape Breton born artist, Jacquelyn Mills.

Geographies of Solitude is an immersion into the rich ecosystem of Sable Island and the life of Zoe Lucas, a naturalist and environmentalist who has lived over 40 years on this remote island in the Northwest Atlantic Ocean.

Premiere is Thursday April 27, 2023 at 7 pm, Cineplex Cinema, Sydney; Director will be present for introduction and Q & A.
