Hey DQ Fans! Mark your calendars: Thursday, August 14th is Miracle Treat Day 2025! For every Blizzard Treat you buy at DQ’s in Sydney and Sydney River, net proceeds will be donated to the IWK Children’s Hospital. So you can help kids in need and satisfy your sweet tooth at the same time! Now that sounds pretty sweet, doesn’t it? Remember! That’s 2025 Miracle Treat Day, coming up Thursday, August 14th. On Saturday, August 23rd St. Andrew's Church in Sydney Mines the congregation will be holding their annual yard sale in the church hall from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. There is lots to choose from and something for everyone. Come and enjoy the yard sale and take advantage of the low low prices. Also you can enjoy a BBQ hot dog and pop before carrying on to the Northside Boys Car show at noon. Come and bring the whole family.
