National Nursing Week 2021 is May 10-16. It always occurs from the Monday to the Sunday of Florence Nightingale’s birthday, May 12. The week draws attention to nurses, increasing the awareness of the public, policy-makers and governments of the many contributions of nursing to the well-being of Canadians. Each year a theme is developed by the International Council of Nurses (ICN) to showcase how nurses are central to addressing a wide range of health challenges.

Hours are Mondays from 11 am to 3 pm and Thursdays from 10 am to 3 pm in the former Bank of Montreal building, 173 Charlotte Street in Sydney. Use of the centre is free.
