Cape Breton's Only Breast Cancer Survivor Dragonboat Team, the Cape Breastoners would like to invite you to their Annual Spring Fashion Show, Sunday March 29 at the Grand Lake Road Fire Hall. Doors open at 11 AM The Afternoon will Include Fashions from Emerald Isle, a luncheon catered by Flavour, a Market, Draws and Giveaways. McConnell Library Knit-a-thon
KnitFit Community Knit-a-thon Rescheduled to: Saturday April 4th, 2020, 9 am to 4 pm McConnell Library, 50 Falmouth St, Sydney. Due to heating issues at the McConnell Library, this year’s Knit Fit Community Knit-a-thon had to be postponed and has been rescheduled to Sat April 4th from 9 am to 4 pm. United Way Virtual Program for Seniors
United Way Cape Breton have just launched a virtual program seniors can do from home via technology to socialize more, learn more about how to use computers and social media, play games, and more. Meetings are done via Zoom and connects community members with trusted United Way volunteers. If anyone is interested, they may email unitedwaycb@gmail.com or call 902-562-5226.

The bus will be parked with fresh fruits and veggies at a reduced price on July 18th, Aug 1st, Aug 15th, Aug 29th from 10:00am - 11:30am. There will also be an accompanying vendor/flea market. Everything will be held outdoors and social distancing protocols will be in place.
